How Cairosoft handles privacy and marketing measurement

This draft explains the application and marketing-measurement behavior currently supported by Cairosoft. It must be reviewed by the business owner and privacy counsel before production tracking is enabled.

Application data

Cairosoft processes information needed to provide the accounting workspace, including account access, company settings, roles, permissions, transactions, reports, and audit history.

Cookies and security

Cairosoft uses necessary application and session cookies for authentication, CSRF protection, security, tenant selection, subscription enforcement, and required application functions.

Optional marketing measurement

If you accept marketing tracking under the updated notice, Cairosoft shares normalized SHA-256 hashes of your registration email and mobile number with Meta for ad matching, together with available browser and ad-click identifiers. Hashing does not make these identifiers anonymous. Rejecting marketing tracking does not prevent registration or starting a trial.

With your permission, Cairosoft may use Meta Pixel and marketing attribution to understand advertising performance. Marketing attribution may include UTM parameters, fbclid, _fbp, and _fbc.

Marketing data is not intended to include accounting records, company financial figures, customer or supplier records, invoices, BIR data, reports, bank information, or payment-provider payloads.

Product usage and your marketing choices

Cairosoft records daily counts of approved public page loads without visitor identifiers. Inside the application, approved page visits and billing plan selections are counted against your signed-in company to understand product usage. Platform administrators can view company totals, pages used, plan selections and the most recent activity time. This is company-identifiable usage, not anonymous visitor tracking. Counts are retained for up to 365 days and contain no user IDs, IP addresses, full URLs, search terms, transaction contents or financial amounts. No analytics cookies, fingerprinting or session recordings are used. Meta marketing measurement remains a separate optional choice.

Marketing cookies are optional. You can reject or withdraw Marketing consent using Cookie Settings in the site footer or in My Account.

Retention and contact

Cairosoft keeps operational records and marketing preferences only as needed for the application, audit, security, billing, support, and lawful business purposes. Specific production retention rules should be confirmed by the business owner and privacy counsel.

Production privacy contact information is not configured yet. Set META_PRIVACY_CONTACT before enabling production tracking.
